My UX philosophy is simple: question and advocate.
Strategically asking the right questions (at the right time) is critical to a UX Researcher. This skill helps with understanding context, stakeholder needs, project constraints, and requirements - setting any project up for success.
As a designer, I believe advocacy is my personal responsibility. I design for humans through the lens of accessible, inclusive design. This requires thoughtful empathy, questioning the status quo, and a fearless ability to shift perspective. Often, it means failing forward with iterative design (and life in general!) to find better and better solutions to human problems.
Best of all, this process helps me become a better human.
When I’m not UX’ing, you can find me adventuring outdoors - whether it be snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, or rock climbing - I love it all. I also love the gym, where I train myself, physically and mentally for whatever challenges life throws my way.
